travel asia vietnam nha trang khai hoang vien

Our day tour, along with every other tour bus in town that day, stopped at Khai Hoang Vien for some cooling refreshment.
The establishment was huge and must have had seating for hundreds if not a thousand in two dining rooms and a patio.
The place was clean and nicely maintained and the servers were very efficient.
The traditional entertainers, on a large stage at the end of the dining room, were a non factor from our seat in the back.
As we entered, a server artfully whacked the top off an iced coconut, stuck a straw in it, and handed it to us on our way to a table.
Once seated, we were promptly served a plate of fresh fruits wrapped in cellophane.
The fruit was clean and nicely prepared and tasted good.
The downside was the shear size of the place... kind of like sitting down for a meal in Grand Central Station.
